Marc van Beusekom
Manager of Business Development
Marc van Beusekom is a database developer by profession with a background in social enterprise. He has been with Options for seven years working on the expansion of Options' vision into new areas. He has been principally involved with the business development of Options for Cars, Options for Green Energy and Options for Sustainable Development.
Previously, he helped found St. John's Bakery, a social enterprise specializing in organic bread, and served as its business manager from 1998 until 2008.
Prior to that Marc operated his own consulting agency developing databases systems for various corporations, government agencies as well as small businesses.
He has an honours degree in Mass Communications from Carleton University. He is the father of three children and owns a rabbit.
For the past two years, Michael has been one of the friendly voices on the line when members call Options. He’s passionate about providing a great carsharing experience and helps make your drive comfortable by managing the fleet, providing support for members, and keeping everything running smoothly with admin support.
Michael has a Degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa and previously worked in administration with a top agriculture bank.
